About our Board
The Board of Directors is made up of 13 industry professionals from across Central Alberta. Each year BILD-CA recruit volunteers to serve on the Board of Directors. All elected Directors shall serve for a term of two (2) years with an opportunity for a second term re-election.

​The position of Past President, President, VP, 2nd VP, and Treasurer serve one (1) year. The CEO and Treasurer are the only Executive that can serve consecutive years.
​
Bylaws: the term, election and role of Directors are referenced in bylaws, policies and other governance documents.

Mandate
BILD Central Alberta operates as a Governance Board and as such is responsible for setting strategic direction as well as providing oversight to the, mission, vision, bylaws, board policies, and financial resources of the Association.
BILD-CENTRAL ALBERTA ANNOUNCES NEW BOARD - 2023 - 2024
Red Deer, June 7, 2023 - Building Industry and Land Development - Central Alberta is pleased to announce the new Board of Directors from the elections at the Annual General Meeting held on June 7, 2023.
Leigh Stuart of Red Deer Overdoor succeeded into the position of President and Chair of the Board. Kyle Cournoyer of Laebon succeeded into the position of 1st Vice President. Vanessa Schmaltz of RSM serving second term as Treasurer and Courtenay Whitehouse of Beacon Homes assumed the Past President.
New Directors elected to the Board to the Board for a two-year term were Koralyn Lemmon of Alair Homes and Carl Sauve of KCB Cabinets and Renovations.
Returning Directors serving their second year of a two-year include Returning Directors serving their second year of a two-year term include Whitney Robinson of Sorento Custom Homes, Carlo Vleeming of Vleeming Custom Homes, Jill Hogaboam of Red Deer Carpet, Pamela Der Bowood Homes, Dan Pinsent of Pass Electric, Justin Fedun of Silverstone Homes.

BILD-Central Alberta is a not-for-profit organization with a regional membership comprised of new home builders, land developers, trades, suppliers, building material manufacturers and professional service companies involved in some aspect of home building.
